Head Coach Patrick Ray
Patrick grew up in Watertown, Connecticut where he played varsity basketball for four years at Watertown High School. His passion for basketball ran deep as he spent his summers traveling to basketball camps across the country. There he would refine his skills and listen to some of the best minds in basketball share their insight into the game.
After high school Patrick signed to play at Western New England University where he was a key contributor on the team during his four years and starting many games for the team. His career at Western New England included a 25-3 record during his sophomore year and an invitation to the NCAA Division III basketball tournament. Basketball camps continued to play a big part of his summers during college but instead of attending Patrick was brought on to coach grade school and middle school boys at several camps including the University of South Carolina and Holy Cross College amongst others.
Patrick’s two sons have acquired his passion for basketball with one making great developmental progress last year as a 3rd grader on the NorthStars while his younger son anxiously awaits his opportunity to play for the NorthStars.
Patrick is very excited to be a part of the NorthStars family so that he can help continue the NorthStars tradition of developing the basketball skills of our youth and cultivating their love for the game.

The CT Northstars want to say "Thank You" to all of our coaches and their families.Without the hard work from them everyday and the sacrifices their families make we could not be successful. It's this effort from everyone that will make us stand out above everyone else.
