Head Coach Matt Lance
Matt Lance has been a health and physical education teacher for eight years. He obtained his Bachelor’s
degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and his Masters Degree from Central Connecticut State
University. He has coached varsity high school volleyball for five seasons, varsity boys basketball for four seasons, and varsity outdoor track and field for six seasons.
Coach Lance in 2018-2019 won the State Championship Title with his Innovation High School Boys Basketball Team.

Assistant Coach Michael Jessie
Coach Jessie is starting his 6th year as Head Coach of The Academy of Science and Innovation Girls basketball team. Coach started the program as a JV program and guided its transition into a Varsity program(2013 to present) Prior to that Coach Jessie was the Canton Girls Varsity Coach 11-12.
From 2003 to 2010 Coach was Freshman Girls basketball at Bristol Eastern High School.
In 2001 and 2002 Coach Michael Jessie was Head JV coach at East Windsor High School. Prior to East Windsor he coached for three years at Brookfield High as both the JV coach and Varsity coach(1998 - 2000) Prior to Brookfield he coached the 7th and 8th grade girls travel team from Farmington (95 - 97).
Currently, Coach Michael Jessie works for the Department of Mental Health and Addictions Services for 14 years. Caoch is also a father of two children.
